I don't buy it either. So what can this technological marvel do? Can it remove water-based stains such as perspiration, juice, coffee, soda, beer, wine, etc.? No. Can it remove oil-based stains such as body oils, lotion, creams, makeup, salad dressing, steak sauce, etc.? No. About the only thing that might work is the ozone. Ozone is effective in neutralizing smoke odors. So if your'e a smoker and wish to "refresh" your garments periodically this might help (but there are better solutions in the marketplace to deal with smoke odors than this device). This is another example of a solution in search of a problem.... the mechanical equivalent of Dryel and similar products. Dryel cannot and does not do anything to remove water- and oil-based stains, the two primary types of stains that impact garments. Nor can this contraption.
