Find me this! I'm inspired, I'm going to order one. I have to now. It doesn't have to be red and white. I found a blue and white that would be great but it's out of stock. Does someone have a close match to this fabric?

Thanks.

Thanks. Is there a standard for the scale on these? I can't tell how big they are in reality.

I think 553 (which I think is the out of stock one) and this one, 400:

are the best contenders.

I have the 88. It's pretty damn big, and the cloth is heavy. I can't see myself wearing it with a suit - only as a casual shirt.

My guess is that #553 is probably closer to Luckystrike's shirt's pattern size than #400.

Did Ricky tell you that #553 is out of stock? It doesn't say that on the web page

No, I just saw one on the "Newest Material" page that said out of stock. Yeah, it's 553. Lame.

Hey J, do you want either of these? They're marked 38 - 15 inch neck - but they're pretty big so I've never actually worn them...

Roughly:
32.5 inches long from the bottom of the collar to the hem;
20 inches across the chest under the armpits;
33.5 inch sleeve.

Also, I have 553. Moo hoo ha ha.

Hmm. If they're really 20" across the chest they will be just too tight. Anyway, PM.

And what's the scale on 553? Do you have a pic of that shirt?

The scale of the zoomed up swatches on Jantzen's site is supposed to be 1:1

1:1 what, though.. monitors are all different. I'm on a 24" wide 1920x1200 monitor... I wish he would just put a ruler in the pic.

Apparently - apparently - some of the TA locations sell the fabric by its lonesome, so you can give it to your own shirtmaker to tailor it as you like.

I've thought about buying some and sending it to the Hemrajani brothers or somewhere. So there's an option, if they still do that.

There's also a few nice pieces of houndstooth fabric on eBay. I love this one, even though it's poly-rayon. And this one, too.
