Does anyone know whether Closer (with Julia Roberts and Jude Law) is supposed to be good? J. -- just so you don't move this post too quickly -- Does everyone agree Jude Law dresses well? [IMG]

Jacket sleeves seem a little long in that particular pic, but I think he's consistently suave. It helps his image that he's been in a lot of visually stylish films... I guess it's a case of which came first? I would like Natalie to dress less. Â [IMG] I do want to see Closer, think it looks good, Mike Nichols is usually on target, Marber is a sharp writer, and the cast is great. Also, waiting for the day Napoleon Dynamite and Shaun of the Dead come out on DVD (Dec 21).

You almost had your chance with "Closer," since she plays a stripper, but Mike Nichols said he felt like a father figure to Natalie and cut her nude scenes. I'm sure the scenes will "leak out" sometime [IMG] To keep this on topic, yes, Jude Law is very dapper.

I wish she were nude, but the stripper scenes look hot anyways. I used to see Portman occassionally in Cambridge. Beautiful in person. Very short though.

I think I read that not ALL the nude scenes were cut, just some of the more gratuitous ones. Stupid Mike Nichols [IMG] [IMG]

They have Julia Roberts with a Leica in the film. And a Hasselblad.

what role was she in in Heat? I don't recall her being in the movie. Maybe I'm just having a senile moment...

Pacino's daughter. And yeah, she's hot. I just hope her acting is better here than in the Star Wars travesties. But hell, I'll see it if what Slate's David Edelstein said is true:
And there's something clothing-related in that bit to boot.
