If I pre-order, is it possible to ship items directly from the manufacturer? If I import something from US, I am looking at the 40% duties and taxes. At the same time, shipping within EU is tax free.

I'm sorry but this is not possible. This is a wholesale order shipped to one location - not individual orders shipped directly from Italy.
