So I was intrigued by something in Manton's book. I am a huge sock fan, and he mentions a classic pattern for socks called the "clock" pattern. I have never been able to find a pair, and no one seems to know what the heck I am talking about.

Do any of you have a pic of a pair of socks with this pattern? It torques me off that I am such a sock guy but don't know what this looks like...

THANKS!

Sock clocks are the small patterns that run up the length of the hose:

Thank you brother!

Question:

Do the clocks have to be that diamond shape, or can they be any pattern that goes up the side of the hose?
