Hi Gentlemen,
I have been using Kiwi clear polish on all of my shoes other black, namely brown shoes and it has worked fine...up until now.
Everytime, I apply the clear polish onto my brown calf/leather shoes, it reacts like suede would ie darkens deeply in color. But as it drys, it returns back to its normal shade, perhaps slightly darker. I'm sure this the norm..right? Besides, I think it gives the shoes a nice patina with this method.
BUt one day, I applied the same Kiwi clear polish onto brown shoes, and the stains would not go away. So now, I have these huge darker strokes across the top of these shoes and can't get them out. Is there a way to reverse this? I also apply Lexol leather cleaner and wipe it off before polishing the shoes. This might be a contributor as well. Please advise and discuss.
Lychee anyone?
