Eventually, I bought two nice cotton suits this last summer...

A golden khaki one half lined...
    A blue one full lined...

They are 100% cotton gabardine, shiny and beautiful, however a tad more rigid than the wool ones, and they do crease and wrinkle !

I haven't used them too much, but I noticed that they catch the odors more than the wool ones... specially when on smokey discos...

what is your experience about cleaning them...

They are not dirty however... just catched some smells from smoke and transpiration.... Does dry cleaning deteriorate them much?

please post your experiences with cotton suits, this will be very helpful

I've found that steaming suits (even wool) either professionally, or simply hanging them in the bathroom when you take a hot shower, works fairly well at lifting some odors and removing wrinkles as well.
