I like an eclectic style. Right now I'm very much interested in developing a a smart, but rustic style. I'd really appreciate some advice. Try to use the boots and jacket. (Note: New at this stuff) I'll update a with different set of looks in the future and they become available.

Also: which one, if any, is best, and why?

I really love that leather jacket of yours and it really pairs well with the blue jeans. I can even imagine it looking smashing with a khaki chino. The only thing that, honestly, doesn't quite fit to the looks you are wearing are the boots and primarily because of the color. Maybe it's just a personal thing of mine, but I struggle with the combination of black and brown. I pair of brown or oxblood colored boots (e.g. Redwings or Wolverine 1000 Mile boots) would probably suit this specific jacket better. Or... get yourself another nifty black leather jacket (maybe a biker style Bellstaff or similar) to expand the wardrobe and to pair up with your black boots ;)

The combination in the picture just with the shirt however fits because you are picking up the dominant black in the shirt again, which balances it out overall and works well with your dark hair.

I really appreciate your feedback. Maybe I'll get some brown harness boots or lighten the current pair. I definitely think I'll get a similar jacket but black.

I'd say black is your color, not brown. So also agree the black shirt (besides matching the boots) looks best- and natural.
Nice finishing photo too (and with good advice!).

Update. Is there a way I can "dress up" the jacket? I've not worn it out yet since I bought it. What's some subtle way I could incorporate it into my wardrobe?
