Who else would like to see serious discussions regarding Classic Clothing on this site?
There seems to be this never-ending drivel about fashion forward slimfit suits and shirts from Banana Republic and J Crew..
Are these posters completely unaware that these lines are at the bottom of the heap regarding quality.
Also, does anyone really believe they are going to get a quality bespoke suit from Asia for $500?
Quality clothing is a serious investment, and these inane discussions about marginal clothing
manufacturers are a joke.
This site is really doing a disservice to those posters who are trying to understand how to dress in a Classic Style.

So....is your "poloboy" handle meant to be ironic? Was "hugoboy" taken?

'Poloboy', you appear to have been on this site for a year and a half, yet you seems to know nothing about it. Can I suggest you actually read some stuff first and then come back and admit how idiotic your OP was.

Hello Flying Monkey. LOL
You are exactly the type of person I was referring to in my OP.
May I suggest you educate yourself, before you show your ignorance again in another post!!!

I've seen FM's posts. I don't always agree with him, but at the same time, I'm pretty sure he knows more than I do, and 100% certain he dresses better than me.

Also, from what I recall, he's not shopping at Banana Republic. Isn't that what the OP was about?

I've just looked back at Poloboy's other posts and half of them are pretty much the same. The other half are reasonable opinions on what constitutes classic dress, but even then he seems unable not to be rude, which is ironic considering he is advocating 'gentlemanly' conduct. So either a troll, a persona designed deliberately as a caricature of an AAAC member, or someone who has a kind of Internet version of Tourette's Syndrome... and whatever the truth, probably not worth bothering with.

/thread.

Quality and style are two different things. At the end of the day, it's about dressing in a manner where the clothing fits well and is flattering on the wearer.
