Dear all, Hello, I am a new member here and would like to ask the community for some style advice. I am looking to purchase my first pair of nice military style leather boots that I can wear this winter in bad weather. In my research I have come across the Crockett and Jones Coniston boots, which are available in Navy and Tan colours: http://www.crockettandjones.com/product/coniston-tan http://www.crockettandjones.com/product/coniston-navy-grain The navy ones are currently on sale as well in London, so really tempted to get those, they look unique and beautiful. However, I am just not sure how the colour navy would work in shoes? Most people seem to say shoes need to be either black or brown/tan, and any other colours should be avoided. What is the community's opinion on navy shoes for men? Versatile enough to wear with many different outfits including suit? Or too restrictive? Would love some input! If any navy Coniston owners could chime in as well that would be great! Many thanks!
