I have a pair of Clark loafers, and I personally think they are great. I was wondering what everyone else thought of their quality? I got them from someone so I dont even know how much they cost.

Clarks retail between about $80-120 USD depending on the particular style. I like the Classic Desert boot and the Desert Trek. They are pretty comfortable and certainly a classic casual shoe/boot, looking particularly good paired with cords or jeans, and you could certainly do worse for the price, but they aren't Lattanzi's.

I really hate a lot of Clarks beyond their classics range though. Some of their shoes remind me of those ugly ass Mephistos, Borns and Eccos people insist on wearing.

Great casual wear, however if you are looking for comfort, I would check the new Smart Shoe line from Timberland, or some of the newer younger looking Rockport styles, they have come a long way.
I own all 3, and I must say, I wear the Rockports for work almost daily, they just seem to be the most comfortable for standing the whole day.

When I see such things on men's feet I become depressed and all sad and yes horribly bothered and you just shouldn't do this to a lady; though I sympathize for those who must stand all day, and yet and yet and yet--think of pain as a way of building character; better yet, find shoes that look nice and feel good. Work at it a little. Try. If you stop at Clarks you aren't really trying.

I would second the lovely Alexis. I have three pairs of Clarks. They are very comfortable and great for "scuff around" duty walking my dog through sand, wet grass, etc. I would never dream of wearing them to my office, however...and I work in an all-too-casual office.

I've never seen them before but judging from the website, I think they look far too bulky. Might feel like you have tanks trudging around on your feet. No Lattanzis, indeed.

I'm wearing brown Wallabees right now with cord pants. The shoes I've had for about 7 months and they're still incredibly comfortable. I think while Clarks can veer into Rockport category, their originals--the Wallabee, the Desert Shoe--are classic and cool.

My thoughts exactly. The crepe soled classics only.

Iv'e built plenty of "character" over the years, and it seems women always want men to be in pain, why is that? I have an old saying from a very old and wise man....it goes something like this.
"Sick in the feet, sick in the head, chili today, hot tamale, listen to the pain, don't live in vain, your feet will feel fine, and life will be devine."

Desert Boots (Mod) and Wallabees are classic designs. Very comfortable.. Too bad the manufacturing went to China.

Clarks have always been a comfortable shoe. Recently, they seem to have tried to make them a bit more stylish.

Personally, I think that Ecco has revitalized its line to combine decent styling with remarkable comfort. I´ve compared my New Walkathon with a friend´s Zegnas and they are quite similar in design.
