I'm gonna buy the sand suede ones in 9.5 (I'm about a size 10)

Think they'll go well with black jeans or grey jeans?

Also, where's the best place to order them from in Canada? Amazon won't ship, zappos is out of my size..

Softmoc carries them online but they're $140. Your best bet is to buy them on ebay.

i just got back from nordstrom rack because someone told me they have clark desert boots there

i saw they had some beesewax clark DBs..but the sole was cheap looking, it was a dark sole that was harder than the standard crepe sole

Random question about these boots for those who own them.. how comfortable are they? they look like they'd dig in to your leg when you walk.
The material above your ankles goes unnoticed. The suede ones are rather soft and very supple. Beeswax is only a little stiff, with mine I wear ankle socks. Without an insole they can be a bit uncomfortable to stand in for a long time. At least with Clarks brand DBs. They also aren't very hot either.

I saw some of these too. They're clarks, and the style is similar, but the soles are not crepe.

yeah I'm interested in checking out some outfits with these black boots. I bought the beeswax pair and those pretty much go with everything but for some reason my black suede ones are a little harder to pair up just right.

Let me know how that goes. I'm trying to decide between the black ones posted and the sand(?) coloured ones.

    Are Clarks 1/2 too big?

I wear a AE 8D Park Avenue and AE 8D MacAllister.

Should I get a 7.5 DB Beeswax or an 8?

Do they fit standard wide or?

Yes, size down. I wear 8 normally, wear 7.5 in DBs and they are roomy if anything. Very comfy.

I saw these and they look fine.

Besides, there's nothing cheaper looking than a filthy crepe sole, but don't get me started...

I have a pair of these. 3 eyelets, right? They come in a grey suede as well. Just as comfortable, look just as good, and have better grip than crepe soles. I believe they're called Bushacre. Have fun trying to find that anywhere online, though.

I'm going to pick up some DB Beeswax.

I'm a regular 8D, definitely recommend I get 7.5D in the DB Beeswax?

    Thanks in advance.

My desert boots are half size smaller than my wallabees.
