my first pair of boots ever, have always been a sneaker person before this, so I really need some advice as to whether i'm keeping my leather maintenance in check or it's just my leather aging. I apologise if I'm using the wrong terms for description, but I hope you get the geist of what I'm trying to bring across. This are a pair of taupe waxed leather btw. here are 2 shots without the flash. As you can see from the 2nd pic, the creases are looking severely dried up. Is this normal? Should I apply something to moisten it up abit? [IMG] [IMG] Here are 2 pics with flash. I've been rocking a pair of skull 5010xx with them and as with most raws, i'm getting bleeding on the boots. I know this is a common problem, but I haven't heard much on remedies for this...is there any to clean it off? Also i'm getting issues with the creases being of a lighter shade than the rest of the boot. Is this telltale signs of drying? Is there anyway I can have the creases uniform with the rest of the boot? [IMG] [IMG] Any helpful replies are appreciated.

^First thing you should remember is that DB's are the ultimate beater boots. You look at them the wrong way and they'll scuff up. Creases and stains are pretty normal. Haters say its lousy leather. Devotees say it gives the boots character. You could apply some mink oil or leather conditioner, which will restore the original dark color. But don't expect it to last long.

Logged on and went to Endless.com to pick up a pair of sand suedes at $66 only to find that the sale seems over - DBs are ringing up at regular price!!!! [IMG]

I blame myself - put a pair in my online cart no longer than 36 hours ago and I ran out to do laundry before checking out.

Anyone know if Endless does these sales regularly?? $66 a pair plus free 2 day shipping is, imho, a helluva deal.

Do any of you wear these boots in the summer? I desperately need something to replace these as my office shoes.

Of course the endless sale ended but 30% bing cashback was still going and my size popped up in beeswax

$20 more (90-30%=63) but still a pretty good deal. Too bad I missed the sale prices though (its not like they restocked...must have just gotten a return or cancelled order)

    Adding to the sizing debate:

I usually wear a 15 narrow and these fit me, relatively well, at 14D.

Avex, if you want them to stay perfect looking forever, you should have put them behind glass in an exhibit somewhere.

But if you're going to wear them, yes, they're going to get creases and wear and discoloration.
