I have the sand and the taupe suede, I prefer the sand with dark denim.

yeah i like the sand the best ... especially when they get a little dirty ... very nice and easy to wear with any dark denim

    Thanks to you both.

I was leaning towards sand, but I have no matching belt.

Or is matching belt-shoe combo a no no here on SF?

I think it's ridiculous to modify shoes. Tailor clothes, yes. Fuck up, shoes? Just buy the right ones to begin with.

dude theres no way your gonna find a sand colored belt. any belt will do as long as its not like bright orange haha.

yeah dont worry about matching ... it looks way too forced. matters a bit more if you are wearing a suit and wanna be a bit more conservative but with denim and DBs any belt would be fine

get beeswax or beige or sand for versatility
Hmm. I'm deciding between grey, sand, and navy suede DB's for wear with dark brown cords, raw jeans, khakis, grey herringbone trousers, and maybe black jeans. Any advice?

sanddddddddddddddddd for raws and black jeans and other darker pants.

if your wearing grey herringbones and maybe some khakis it might look weird cuz they are similar tones.

for the most versatility you could get a pair of sands and a pair of beeswax
