You may not have huge noticeable differences in your feet but nobody is perfectly symmetrical. With every shoe I own the right shoe fits tighter than the left. I don't see the difference in my feet either but there must be some because this is how every shoe fits me.

Yeah, I agree, there probably are slight differences in foot size (I measured and they are pretty much the same size) but the difference on these is like almost a half size.

Is the solution just to deal with it, or can I do anything about this?

Keep in mind that size is also about shape. Your feet may measure the same length and width, but how they are shaped (think bone structure) is no doubt different.

A good B&M would let you swap the bigger shoe for one a half-size down. My wife has done this sometimes at the better shoe stores. If you bought em online, you'll just have to tolerate it. An insole would help.

My coworkers have called mine hush puppies. Btw, my wife's sigh was not directed at my sister-in-law's mistake but at my obsession with desert boots. And actually I'm not sure chukkas is technically incorrect.

What is it with our female s.o.'s when we start liking clothes? Like they're the only ones who get to go all OCD about this ****? They secretly want us to look like ****?

I know I'm not alone when I regularly see girls underdressed compared to myself, eh?

Ultimately underdressed doesn't matter. It's the undressed part... .

Okay so I got my first pair in the mail.....Wondering how much space should be between the heel and the back of the boot when standing / walking? I can fit my fingers between heel and sole which is about a half an inch.

My only concern is that it feels like my heels are slipping out when walking////or I may just not be used to having boots on my feet compared to my normal shoes..
sized down 1/2~
