Hey,

I just got a pair of clarks desert boots in beeswax and was wondering what I should do to them before I wear them and how to care for them over time?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

They're $75 shoes from Vietnam. Just wear them. If you must, you can put some snowseal on them when they get scratches.

I've heard leather food. This question was already answered in the Clarks DB thread in SW&D.

That said, I use AE leather cleaner/conditioner, but I think the leather lotion might be better. Doesn't really matter what you use, they're disposable anyway. Plus, they're supposed to be beat up.
