1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    On that note, and if no one objects to my posting up a build process here;

Hinges installed Using Brusso stop hinges. These are good, unfortunately I found something better right after the fact but not enough of an improvement to change....talking about the Neat Hinge II.

Lol, many have asked on my blog as well. When I put a shop in the basement my wife's requirement was to wear out the carpet before replacing it. Who knew the stuff would wear like steel plate.

Because she provoked fate by saying what was needed to wear out the carpet.

Also, if you do the SFSS next year and you get given me I want a humidor.

LOL! Indeed....I'm itching to replace that floor with big plank something or other, not so much for the workshop but for adjoining space that I use as a study.

I've begun French polishing and it's coming along well, suffice to say Santa's gotta be willing to deliver me a very old pine or mountain juniper bonsai in return

    That looks amazing!

I got a box in HK, it's a very nice ER release, but typically PL mild-floral.
Interestingly most Bolivar ER I had (and I had lots) tend to be lighter than the Regulares (though usually not on the light side, with the Bosphorus being an exception).

I've never been impressed by those yet they continuously get hyped up on the forums.

Not sure what I'll pull out as I'm out of plmcs, maybe a d5 for later. I need to start buying cigars again.

Even sg's tools are handmade down to his festool mft clone.

Started off with a '14 El Principle which was sweet although had a little bite then moved onto this LUB ABR14 Mag46. Wow smooth right to the nub! When I first got the box I wasn't overly impressed but again the goodness of time shows once again [IMG]

    Hey fellow BOTL,

Glad I found this thread on the forum. I love everything to do with men's style and cigars as well, although I'm not a seasoned smoker but getting there! Looking forward to making everyone's acquaintance here and sharing knowledge on cigars, which you will also find on my blog.

Here I am enjoying a Partagas Short, one of my absolute favorite habanos to smoke.

    Cheers!

And tried the excellent Magnum 56 today for the first time, lives up to it, IMHO :)
