yeah. i would like some of those to be maduros as well or at least the option to pick. I am not planning on getting it, but those are the best prices i've seen on most of those sticks.

Found a local shop that has a made in france xtend in matte black I've been looking for. He said as far as he knows they are france and was shocked to hear otherwise. Are you guys sure these are being made in china? If so I'm going to cop the lighter and matches aren't ideal for all settings.

I'm almost positive mine is Made in China. The stamp is right on the side of the ignition. I can't quite remember if it just says "China" or "Made in China". I'll look when I get home and see if I can get a picture of it. I never really looked at the box or the paperwork that came with it or really did any research online. That being said, I've used mine almost everyday since I got it in December and it hasn't failed to light once. It works great every time. I can't say the same for a PB Blazer that is made in Japan that I have.

Not sure if this matters at all, but is the model you are buying called "Xtend" or "Maxijet"? They renamed them recently to Maxijet, maybe due to the manufacturing location change. I don't know.

Thanks B, that's what I'm thinking too with the name change. I'm pretty sure it's an xtend and he took a blurry bb pic that said made in france on the bottom. Did you cop from a reputable dealer? (i had to ask!)

    fall camo xtend?

    V,
I had two actually. I bought one on cbid, which is owned by cigars international. I got one as a gift and that was purchased at the local store I go to who is an approved vendor. I ended up returning the one from the local guy since I don't need two lighters, but they were identical and both marked made in china on the side of the ignition

    Send some over here homie.

Started back up at the gym so my cigar consumption has been on the decline.

Jacuzzi is best late night. Rented a house on Nantucket for July 4th weekend and a buddy woke up from a blackout at 6AM in the jacuzzi and said 'the soul has been ripped from my body.'

Had a VR Maestro (Spanish 07 RE) and Punch Robusto (Swiss 05 RE) this afternoon. On vacation 'til Sunday so I will be posting about the 18 smokes I brought along for the week..

    V. Dupont says CHINA on the chrome part of the ignition. Can't get a good pic but you probably known what I'm talking about. Opus X XxX (mini belicoso). This packs a punch. Very slow burning, high quality tobacco. Classic opus flavors, which I love. I have not had one of these in couple years. I forgot how good they can be. They flavor is relentless. Makes me want to fire up one of my opus sharks!! [IMG]
