What size was it, robusto? Will check the B&M next time I am there.

It was longer and thicker than a rob but not churchill size, about l400 size I would say.

A beauty. For all you Don Pepin fans, this is a must try. Its a Ashton/Pepin collaboration. Very complex, tons of wood, spice and coffee. Puts out a ton of creamy smoke. [IMG] :

Heard good things about this but I keep forgetting to pick them up every time I go.

Yep, that's a very good lancero. The lancero was my favorite size for most of 2009, but I have gained a greater appreciation for the robusto with the cooler weather. The Tatuaje and Illusione lanceros are particularly good, but my all time favorite is the Pepin made Padilla Miami 8&11 with the red band. Pepin doesn't make these anymore, and they are tough to find, but I have about a half dozen or so sitting in my desktop waiting for spring break.

You know it's funny I never thought about this but you're right. During the warmer months lanceros do hit the spot but in winter I haven't had the thought or desire to smoke them. All depends on mood and temp, suppose I like milder smokes in the summer as well.

One of my all recent favorites. All it is is a cabaiguan maduro in lancero form, but it sure is tasty.

Im having David make me a cigar case. Nothing special, just some museum calf lined in Sunbrella material. Hes not a bad craftsman for just doing it as a hobby. Still got some work to do, but I think its gonna come out pretty nice. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
