Cigar/Dark Cognac/Dark Brown Shell Cordovan Wingtips -- What are my options?

I think so. I believe Vass calls it just Dark Brown. The Darlton's are not cigar from what I recall.

My pair of Darltons did not look to be Cigar at all. They had no olive undertones. My understanding is that C&J uses Dark Cognac for all "Dark Brown" shell shoes.

I think you're right. I think that color is just called different things by different makers. Shell can be elusive in more ways than one!
