Church’s is growing on me, especially the classic stuff. Really dig the silhouette on these wingtips.

To be honest, this looks more like the fashion forward offerings to me. What is the model? I was taking a look at the Lancaster oxford. Some might view it as a bit garish with the polished binder, double sole and 360 storm welt. But it is made on the classic 173 last and built like an absolute tank. I can imagine it being favoured by somebody who ordinarily opts for the Consul, but often has to hit the pavement. Put a toppy and toe plate on those and you will never wear them out. lol

It’s funny you mention it, because the last reminds me of the 348 by C&J.

Im an F Width usually, and these are G, and it’s snug (not tight). Also similar to Loake Duke last imo.

Either way, really like it!

Want to get chetwynd or consul at some point.

Hello all. I recently purchased a pair of vintage Church’s Chetwynd Custom Grade shoes. Unfortunately for me they do not fit well enough to get any love in rotation. I would love to see these great shoes find a good home. They seem to be lightly worn at best. They are identified as being 11.5d, I assume that’s European sizing. Color is walnut like. Awesome condition...it hurts my heart that they do not fit me.

Impressive shoes. Far too large for me.

Hey guys, found some consuls for $340. Is that a good price? Haven’t handled them before so can’t comment on quality of leather and last.
