Would

130 D 73

Imply a UK 13 in a D width (that would be quite narrow right?) or did Church label the US imports in US sizes (thus making a 130 D an actual 13 D)

Here's a pic, any help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry to say, but I have Church's retailed in the US that have US sizes written on the inside.

Hmmm, well maybe the fact that it is D (rather than F or G) should make me assume it is US sizing and that this is a 13 D (which is actually my size). Does the 73 last come in a British D (that would be extra narrow, right?) I seem to remember most Church's shoes offered in F & G only, no?

A UK "D" width (comparable to a US "B") would certainly be rare, but not necessarily unheard of.

Here's a potentially dumb question for the forum (and I can check my UK retailed Church's tonight), but did they write the whole number sizing the same way for UK shoes as they did US? For example: 120 versus just 12.

I tried on some Church's at Nordstrom's in the US last week and they were labeled with British sizes with the extra digit (120 F was my size, 13D), so I assumed they used UK sizing for all their shoes, even in the US market.

This one is a pre-Prada shoe, so I can't assume comprable information. So maybe this is a 14 B, not a 13 D? Hmmm.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
