Church Sahara sizing question

How does the Church Sahara boot on leather sole fit? is it true to size or does it run long/narrow? i currently only own allen edmonds or alden shoes, but the navy sahara boots look unreal. if anyone has experience with these boots and either AE or alden, how would you compare the fit? thanks guys!

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but can anyone comment? I'm also planning on picking up a pair of Church's Sahara for summer and am not familiar with Church's sizing in general. I'm 7.5 UK in C&J 348 and 8 in the 337.

They fit me true to size. Church's tend to run narrow on me though so mine is a wide (G) fit.

I can confirm that the Sahara's fit true to size. I have a US 10d foot and I wear UK 9 suede Saharas (in wine color) with socks very comfortably. That said, the pair I have are on a crepe sole, not leather.

Anyone know if it's feasible to replace a crepe sole with a leather sole on these boots? They're goodyear welted so it's obviously possible. I'm wondering if anyone who's actually done it can speak to the result.
