I felt left out that I didn't get to start a Chukka thread. There are 3 others on the first page, and I wanted to make a 4th Chukka thread. . . BAM

There is a Redwing Chukka thread on the first page of Streetwear and Denim as well.

These are nicer though.

Does anyone prefer chukkas with 3 pairs of eyelets?

I like both, but I wear the latter more frequently.

No shortage of Chukka threads at the moment.

I much prefer the meatier country lasts but that begs a question. I have Alden Flex Welt suede chukkas and Herrings leather Strathclydes but I'm looking for a chukka (leather or suede) in a chunkier last.

Other than Alden on the Barrie last does anyone know of any other maker with a meatier country last chukka? Specifically any of the English makers? Cheers.

The old RL McCallums on the C&J 325 last are a fairly meaty chukka as well (with 3 rows of eyelets)
