I felt left out that I didn't get to start a Chukka thread. There are 3 others on the first page, and I wanted to make a 4th Chukka thread. . . BAM

These are nicer though.

No shortage of Chukka threads at the moment.

I much prefer the meatier country lasts but that begs a question. I have Alden Flex Welt suede chukkas and Herrings leather Strathclydes but I'm looking for a chukka (leather or suede) in a chunkier last.

Other than Alden on the Barrie last does anyone know of any other maker with a meatier country last chukka? Specifically any of the English makers? Cheers.

The C&J "Chukka" (actual model name) is on the 200 last. It is fairly chunky.

The old RL McCallums on the C&J 325 last are a fairly meaty chukka as well (with 3 rows of eyelets)

The 'Gifford' model also has 3 eyelets.
