Great read. You're right, they were much more emotive about the brand's past and the state of the industry than I've seen in other interviews


Oh, and random question-- does anyone know why the hem of the kaftan coat is sort of pointy near the placket? I've never seen that done before, so I'm curious.

Does anyone know if the quilted coat is available somewhere in camel? Did I miss the boat already? I picked up the kaftan coat in grey tweed and may get the quilted coat in black, but since my wardrobe is mostly black I figure camel could be pretty striking.

Anyone have the quilted coat already and have some thoughts on it? I ignored it for a while because it looks pretty bad in the Suspension Point product shots but every time I've seen it styled it's always been open or partially unbuttoned and it looks amazing.

Got the Kaftan Coat (grey tweed) in the mail today. I normally wear a 46 for oversized coats and a 48 for tts but looking at the measurements I went with a 44 (I believe 20" shoulder-to-shoulder) and it worked out perfectly, just the right amount of drop in the shoulders. Such an incredibly comfortable coat, I love the way it drapes. I'll post some pics when I get the rest of my Lemaire stuff for the season in.

What size did you get? I grabbed the last 48 off MrP. Haven't had a chance to try it on with a full mirror around to see how it looks. I'm hoping it isn't too oversized looking on me since it hits slightly below mid shin for me.
