Yeah I guess that's what I was wondering, there seems to be a lot more womens stockists than mens, online at least.

Has anybody tried the striped band collar shirt? http://www.matchesfashion.com/product/215585

I'm a sucker for band collars but I'm wondering how pronounced the stripes are in person (if the photos on Matches are accurate then that;s perfect) and how awkward that pocket is.

That one is definitely a women's coat and not a unisex one as it appears to have a right over left closure, which would drive me mad.

Flaps can always be inserted into the pocket, so you can get a cleaner look.

    What should I get?

Maxi coat (1) or Kaftan (2)?

I think I prefer that HB on the Maxi and not on the Kaftan. It might look better on the more structured Maxi IMO.

also, let's switch to the official Lemaire thread! http://www.styleforum.net/t/452030/lemaire

that was my take too, it's not terrible on the kaftan and its a great fabric, but just looks better on the other coat imo

Obviously they're both very nice but personally I prefer the maxi, probably going to get one for myself when they come in at the stores, we'll see.

    Dear all,

I sell this kaftan size 44 (XS) from AW14-15. This is absolutely brand new. Drop me an email if interested and do not hesitate if you have any question.

also it can fits women as you can see from lagarconne model wearing a 44IT men's size.

    http://www.lagarconne.com/store/item/0/28333/Christophe-Lemaire-Kaftan-Coat.htm

Also I sell these women's slippers in 38. Apparently it fits small so should half size down. More a 37 1/2 in European size.
