Anyone find your self in your career cause you kept taking in college the courses that interested you and one day you realized you have fulfilled a degree requirement and were worth a check you could respect thus moved on into the corporate world.

I feel i have been taught to pick a destination then work towards it and i want to ask around and find out of others were taught to take what you are interested in now in the moment and have the destination be of lesser priority.

Recently i earned 3 certs. The cert and an income weren't the destination. I wanted to repair a truck i own. Damage repair, and painting. I'll soon have a vehicle that is reconditioned and ready for another 10 years of service. Doing that i became a person of financial value cause now i can do it for others.

I question the forum cause i feel i been taught wrong. Had i not worried about the future destination and income and been taught to learn what i want to learn right now and leave what could be out of the equasion I'd have chosen better educational paths better.
