Choosing a white fabric from online tailor

Hi All, first post here… from searching around the forums, it looks like this question has popped up, but I have yet to see a good answer:

I recently purchased a white poplin shirt from Cottonwork. The fit is great, but I am pretty disappointed that the fabric is quite see-through (it was their mid-tier quality).

I've been happy with their service and quality overall, but am afraid to try and reorder another white shirt without having a physical swatch of fabric to look at first. Any thoughts on how to go about getting a white poplin shirt from an online tailor that is guaranteed not to be see through?

(also, I'd like to avoid a heavier weave like oxford and no, an undershirt is not an option for me)
