chippewa bridgeman vs redwing sizing question

for people that have redwings and chippewa bridge mans do you guys usually get the same size or do you get redwings in a half size bigger, i got some chips in the same size as my perfect fitting redwings and they feel a bit big, wondering if i should size down or not
