In the next couple months I'm going to have to buy a new suit. I'm probably going to have about $500 to spend. What I would like to get is a basic charcoal grey or navy 3 button suit. Any suggestions of where to go shopping in Chicago to get the best deal for my money? Thank you all,
Grad

Suggest you purchase a suit on sale at Sierra Trading Post http://www.sierratradingpost.com/p/1...t-For-Men.html , get ~$1500 suit for ~$500 - pay no tax. Take said suit to Urek at Mega Tailor, located at Dearborn, just south of Superior, lower level and have him tailor it to your liking. He's just as good as any on Oak Street but not as expensive. This would be my Chicago first suit advice. My first suit as an adult was purchased at Michigan Avenue Brooks Brothers some 15 years ago - retail... wish I knew then, what I know today.. good luck.
