Planning a sartorial discovery trip to Chicago with a good friend of mine. Any suggestions? Below is what we've put together already:

Suits - Chris Despos
Hats - Optimo
Leather Goods - Horween
Shirts - Joe Hemrajani (he'll be visiting)
Leather Goods - Brandi Devers
Wet Shaving - Merz Apothecary Pharmacy

Haberdash is a nice little shop with (among other things) a very well-curated tie collection.

Eat wherever Despos takes you/tells you to. I still haven't had the pleasure of meeting him in person, but he always seems to pick my favorite places in the neighborhood (particularly Naha and Spiaggia.)

If you're staying near there, have a cocktail at Sable.

Oh, that's too bad. That was a unique kind of place.

when I was there in 2010, things were well priced (lobbs for $500-550ish). Now they have those same lobbs that did not sell for $1300+

They have stefano ricci belts for 1k. plain calfskin, alloy buckles. enough said in my mind.

Thanks SF (a new me)
