Chicago area tailors for an unusual alteration

I am both an clothing devotee and a fencer.
At the moment, the two need to be combined, as I need a conductive vest (lamÃ

), tailored down to fit my rather skinny frame. It's not a particularly difficult job as only the conductive surface needs to remain intact (or can be cut and resewn with the appropriate thread), but there are very specific rules on fit, so it must be done very accurately and carefully.
The only fencing armorers who do this sort of alteration are on the East and West coasts, and thus currently impossible to reach.

So, the question is, what chicago area tailors would be able/willing to do this, preferably in a short timeframe?
Price is of fairly little concern, but the sheer awkwardness of this particular modification, despite the actual ease in doing it, has driven me here to ask.

Thanks

Have you asked any of your fellow fencers if they have had this done and who they used?

Unfortunately, the Chicago fencing contingent is rather small, and of them, none that i know have tailored their lames. Most don't need to, as the lame usually fits reasonably well OTR, but I am of exceptionally odd body type, so it's something of a necessity.
