1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Pretty cool. I like that if you saw someone wearing this, you would never guess that it's nearly 70 years old.

Also interesting: Client of the other A&S jacket offered by seller may be Louis Gimbel III, of the Gimbel's dept store family.

Client for this one is hard to read.

Looks like its from the same original client. The one linked to in this post was made for a L.S. Gimbel.

    Very cool:

Generally, I'm against wearing striped jackets with odd pants.

But this one is obviously special. It would look great with a nice casual slack, or even jeans. And the fact that this coat is 70 years old only makes it better.

That's just my size. 98.6% seems a little low for ebay. Anyone know if he's a reputable seller and if the jacket is the real deal?

No experience with the seller but why would anyone fake a 70 yr old jacket?
