I really like this jacket. I wouldn't buy it because I have no idea where I would wear it or what I would wear it with, but I like it. Maybe if it was $100. What is this thing for? No one has smoking parlors anymore so where would you wear it?

For $400 it's a waste IMO but for $100 or less you could rock it with jeans to clubs

It's neat but not my favorite pattern for a smoking jacket.

If anyone happens to be a 40L, there is this...

A velvet Armani black label smoking jacket for $11 (current bid, at least). It's has a pretty nice shape, I think.

Somebody had a picture of themselves in that jacket (the Dunhill) with traditional tux pants and green Lobb slippers, IIRC, and it looked rather smashing.

You're a 44L, tex? Pretty good size for ebay, I tend to see quite a few.

Edward- I am a 44l or 46l depending on the cut (I have a big butt). As far as ebay i find that my size means that I end up with a lot of bizarre stuff because they don't sell enough of it for the likelyhood of someone my size buying it (6'4" 250lb). This goes for Nordstrom rack, filene's, etc. The good news is that I am kind of an excentric dresser so it works out.

Kiton- this is comming from someone that is wearing ostrich/croc shoes? Ha! just kidding.

Holy crap!! That's samblau's eBay account (he posts on AAAC sometimes) and it looks like someone hijacked his seller account and is selling cars for $48 in private auctions. I just emailed him to let him know.

Look @ this '67 Shelby GT for $48! The guy asks bidders to email him to another address before bidding and not to use the eBay system because "it is quite slow and sometimes not working..." Uh huh! And they are all listed in the fabric category - velvet and velour.
