Cheaper version of this JL shoe?

I'm looking for something in this vain (the last and the styling speak to me.) I'm guessing this is JL. I'm sure other manufacturers have very similar version out there. Any suggestions of where online I can get a cheaper version of this? I don't recall seeing such an item from C&J. What is this style of shoe even called?

That looks like the vintage 2004 shoe. I don't have any idea as to who makes a cheaper version of the shoe though.

Edward Green has a version called the Ladbroke which is on sale right now at Leffot in NYC according to their blog. I think C&J has a hard to find version called the Balmiur (spelling?). I don't think the ones posted are Lobbs, but I could wrong.

Is that polished with shoe wax or finished in a car painting booth?

It appears to be the Vintage 2004 in Chestnut Museum Calf with quite a spit shine on them.

Perry

Here is the shoe in a couple of different colors. I would need to look at the boxes to remember the colors of mine. Note that the OP's picture doesn't show JL trees in them.

I still don't think they are Lobbs in the original photo.

If you look at the Lobb 2004s posted, they have a longer swan neck which hits at about the midpoint of the heel. The original hits at about the start of the heel. Secondly the toe boxes look different to me.

The shoes in the original picture is JLP bespoke cost about $5000. The least expensive alternative is C&J Balmuir and the most expensive JL 2004 with EG Ladbroke in the middle and Vass MTO in U or F last the biggest bang for your buck.

Zee's in HK can also make this design which will be the cheapest way if you are in HK of course

It's Anthony Delos, which should be around $ 3000 or a little less, maybe.

these are indeed delos.
Nice shoes, but the finish is overlooked.

If you have a carmina/albaladejo retailer in your neighbourhood, they have the same model, that can be orderd in "white"leather (not coloured and ready for custom patina), so that you can give them the same colour.

Off topic: Impressive mirror shine on those shoes

Is a shoe that highly shined even wearable? Wouldn't they simply crack and flake, before you got to the end of the road?

C&J used to make a shoe in that style. I can't remember the name of the model though.
