I have had these up before...Someone PLEASE buy them and use em.... Anyhow I have a US size 10.5 D in the Whitehall Handgrade Chestnut or I think Antique tan. They are awesome. They HAVE NO IMPERFECTIONS and the left shoe has never been tried on. They are a little too tight. They are the 330 last. Funny but the other 10.5 I bought fit me PERFECTLY. Anyhow, I don't think I can return them. I also don't think I can exchange them either so, I thought I would offer them here before ebay. I am asking $275 (YES BRAND NEW HANDGRADES IN THE BOX!) plus $10 shipping in the US. I have pics!

If these are "penultimate" what would be the ultimate?

Pics would be nice.

Main Entry: pen·ul·ti·mate
Pronunciation: pi-'n&l-t&-m&t
Function: adjective
1 : next to the last <the penultimate chapter of a book>

Often mis-used.

In the mid-1990s, a copywriter for RLPL referred to Purple Label as Ralph's "penultimate" collection...

To be fair, he may have meant that the ultimate pair of shoes is simply unachievable.

Can't argue with that.

I didn't misuse it, I entered the word because I know what it means. A tan cap-toe is, for me, the penultimate dress shoe.

The ultimate...hmm. A nice wholecut, perhaps.

You misused it again. It's next to last, not next to best.

You're also having a problem with punctuation, but we'll cut some slack there.
