cheap alternative to Common Projects?

Is there a poor man's version that is close to the design? Specifically the Achilles low in white.

I've only seen them in canvas so far; I own a pair in blue and unfortunately they are a bit too wide for me. Also, they are a little chunky - aren't CPs sleeker?

Some Keds look decent and like CPs are based on classic sneaker designs

But there is no cheap CP alternative that is rendered in luxe leather and designed w/ the careful restraint such as CPs are. if there were such a thing, CPs would have no market

There is none as synthetic leather will look like utter **** within months. Not even those Addidas listed below looked all that great. Profile was not where near as nice.

Supergas in leather are pretty sleek. They are wide for me too though.

Supergas in leather are pretty sleek. They are wide for me too though.

Which is a shame - it's a fine looking shoe.
