I have both Crockett and Jones and Cheaney. I am happy with both. C&J handgrades are very different to Veldtschoen boots by Cheaney though.

If you are concerned about brand image then Church and C&J are much more firmly established. Cheaney, like Loake, have a big presence in the less expensive end of the market. Trickers have the country footwear image and Edward Green established a reputation at the higher end of the price scale.

Not many better looking shoes than these. Had my eye on them for a while and £220 at Matches Fashion sealed the deal!

Cheaney Hampton - Last 1978
Veldtschoen construction

They look so timeless. Little maintenance and water resistant.
A simple, roughed and classic boot from Cheaney.
I feel strangely attached to this one. Must be my age.☺

I bougth a Cheaney Avon B online during the winter sale and I noticed they have a small red sticker inside.
Does anyone know what's the meaning of this sticker?

Thank!

I'm guessing that they were a sale item. I got some sale pairs too with similar stickers.
