Very nice! Almost makes me want to buy a third pair of Elliott boots 😁
My favourite Cheaney is the Jarrow boot and I have effectively 6 pairs of them .
1/ I have a flawed pair in Chicago Tan colour that I was sent from Cheaney which had the left boot with 10 eyelets one side and the other facing with nine eyelets. I decided to get a tenth eyelet added at a local cobbler which cost me £2.00 rather than return them (they were half price in the sale and the last sale pair). The right boot has of course nine eyelets but it is all hidden under your trousers.
2/ I have a pair of Jarrow in black CXL colour.
3/ I have a pair of Cheaney Milburn in English Tan CXL colour which is a Jarrow with a white EVA sole (that I changed to a gum commando sole).
4/ I have a pair of Herring Badminton in dark brown which is a Cheaney Jarrow with speed hooks and a similar but (I think) different pull up leather.
5/ I have another pair of Cheaney Jarrow in Chicago Tan CXL colour, this time flawless and bought four years after the first pair.
6/ I have a pair of Cheaney Jarrow in English Tan CXL colour .
And yes, I have a problem, owning 17 pairs of Cheaney boots and shoes.

At the Cheaney store in Cambridge, they had on sale last month a one off Jarrow model in brown pull up oiled leather. A model that never featured online for retail or seen in other stores. It was a stunner.

The Pennine boot has nine holes - no speedhooks. The lacing is very cramped.

I resorted to lock laces for convenience rather than persist with the short laces supplied with the boot.

I wonder if that is the same leather used for the Badminton I own. It is described as "Brown Waxy" by Herring and my copy had more colour variation than CXL out of the box.
Now Herring/Cheaney are doing the Badminton in a Bronze Rub-Off leather but I am resisting the urge to expand the collection further. Maybe if they did a Burgundy CXL version I'd give in but I do own several Burgundy CXL boots from other manufacturers. Sadly, it's not just Cheaney that has emptied my bank account though they're the biggest culprits.

you are perfectly fine, you have no problem at all
if I hadn't 20 pairs of Crocket&Jones (4 of them Conistons), I would probably have at least 17 pairs of Cheaney instead of only 2

The Jarrow is a great boot, a premium Iron Ranger. It could do with a few eyelets less, I think the Badminton is more practical.

I have a Jarrow in Whiskey Kudu myself.

You should definitely get the bronze rub off leather, they are really nice. Do any of you find the Badminton boots narrower than the Jarrows, or it’s just my pair.

I didn't realise they did the Jarrow with the Kudu leather. I thought the Whiskey Kudu leather was on the Hurricane boot on the 142 last.
I seriously considered getting that boot myself last year, then I realised my boot collection was getting stupidly big and I already have Kudu boots from Trickers and Carlos Santos. Trying to fill every niche is just going to be a waste.

I find my Badminton the same as more recent Cheaney boots on the 12508 last. My older Jarrows seemed a little wider in the heel and midfoot but the latest Jarrows plus a Tweed and a couple of Trafalgars I own on the same last have that snugger fit. I have flipper feet with a very narrow midfoot but my toes have spread with age and weight gain so that suits my feet.

I may be tempted by the Bronze rub off leather if I see it in a sale but I'm trying to reduce my boot (and shoe) collection. I said that last year of course and the year before and...

I think the Whiskey kudu leather is very attractive. I actually have both the Hurricane on the 142 and the Jarrow kudu on the 12508 last. They're not far apart in style but the 142 is much more bulbous. I bought the Hurricanes as (after a only a couple of walks) I simply had to accept that my kudu Jarrows are just half a size too small in UK11. I could not source a larger size. I really should sell them.

That's interesting, I haven't seen them on the website. I take a UK size 12 in most footwear.
It might well have been a Cheaney special for Country Attire, the store I purchased them from back then. Country Attire changed owners and no longer stock Cheaney, unfortunately.

Got another Cheaney:

The 'Richmond II R' in 'Black Regency Calf', a lovely, very subtle soft-grain.

I adore the split-toe Apron style anyway and this Richmond is built on the 130 last, which I so love with the Mocha 'Elliott II R' I have shown last week. The shape is pretty elegant, isn't it!

A lovely leather indeed. You have to look very closely to see the subtle grain.

I'm a fan of that split toe/apron design as well. Enjoy!
