This is my first post, and I appreciate any advice those of you with more expertise could provide.
I purchased a pair of Cheaney Tenterden II shoes in 9F, last 130. I have Cheaney Limes in the same size that fit well, and though these new shoes are comfortable I'm concerned about the creasing. Cheaney has very limited offerings where I live, so I purchased these directly from the manufactuerer without trying them on. I'd corresponded with Cheaney and they said that since the Lime 9F fits, this should too.
However, I'm concerned they may not be optimal in length or width, despite being comfortable and with no heel slippage. The toe are has a little excess room, but the heel seems to fit well. The creasing is close to the eyelets and the ball of my foot is at the base of the eyelets. Should I return these for an 8.5F? Cheaney does not cover the cost of returns from my location, and it's pricy at 45 GBP, so if the 8.5F is going to be too small or also not fit well, I may need to stick with these. I've written Cheaney but no response yet.
Thank you very much for your assistance.
