Cheaney Essentials

I am just about to put money into my first serious pair of shoes, and after doing much hunting looking for a good bargain, am considering a Cheaney Essentials shoe.

Have any of you tried Cheaney's lower range of shoes and what would your comments be?

i have a pair of cheney essentials (lambeth). the overall quality is quite fine, but for the money i'd prefer grenson..
