An order from American Apparel came yesterday. I've ordered their Ts before and was impressed, so this time I tried the "Charlie-O" Leisure-style shirt.

Nice. But mine's a little too big. I'm debating whether to send it back or not. I ordered a size up becuase the website said the shirt was only ~19.25" wide in size Medium. (Most Mediums are around 20" which fit me exactly.) It's also a stretchy fabric called terry cloth, which I didn't notice when I ordered.

Do you think this shirt will shrink to a better fit, or will I just be wasting money if I try and wash it? I don't know anything about terry cloth. Anyone have any experience with the Charlie?
