I know that CT shoes have been blasted on SF. What about the shirts? Quality for under $100 shirts (those on sale too). Please no comparisons to over $100 shirts. Thanks

I like their slim-fit dress shirts, and would recommend them when their sale prices dip under the $60 to $70 mark.

Do their slim fit seem close to the listed measurements on the site?

I have a bunch of their slim fit dress shirts. I only buy them when they are considerably marked down. They fit me very well OTR and they are good everyday work shirts for me.

They're fine on discount - slightly below TM Lewin, but okay - not terrible, not stunning.

I think they're fine for knockaround shirts, sub-Thomas Pink but often superior to Brooks Brothers and a good deal when heavily marked down, which is pretty often. Wait for them to dip to the $40-$50 range, which they undoubtedly will. Their premium shirts are a decent, though not stellar deal in the $100 range. The collars are high, which I don't mind.

The slim fits are my day-to-day wardrobe staple. They happen to fit me very well for OTR.

Definitely should get them on sale or on ebay, although sometimes the ebay shirts are seconds. The current sale, I think, is 4 for $199. I would be interested in the premium line, but not enough to commit $100 yet.

The premium line (140 sea island quality) is much much better than the standard line. May even be worth $100, although Coles is better if you can get it at that price

Get yourself some Harvie & Hudson shirts. I have shirts from CT, TM Lewin, and H&H, and of the three, Harvie & Hudson are my favorites. Nice quality fabrics, fun patterns and designs, and good prices. You can get 3 shirts for £90. www.harvieandhudson.com

Obviously I have never worn a CT shirt.
REcenetly I had to alter two different CT shirts for a theatre production. one shirt was Ok the other was awful. I mean, a piece of crap.

They seem to have some very nice stuff. Anyone else ever use them?

I have tried to buy Harvey and Hudson the other day. The problem was that after three days I got an email saying that the size that I had order was out of stock. I have now tried to order again, but the main problem still is that in my standard size of 15/34/single cuff there is almost no choice....

I hope one day their website will be better organised and you can quickly retrieve what you want - the Charles Tyrwhitt website clearly is much better.

3 Shirts for 100 pounds, plus 20 pound shipping. I really wanted to order some shirts from them, however compared to 90 pounds for 4 shirts at TM Lewin and 8 pound shipping its hard to justify the deal unless in London and buying there locally.

I've noticed a lot of variety in their shirts. I have one with fabric I absolutely love, and some others that are just okay. But I do like their patterns and when they dip in the 40s for slim fit and 50s for the more difficult to find slim fit no iron they're not bad. I've come to prefer them to BB, especially given that I don't like BBs patterns much.
