Does anyone have experience with Charles Tyrwitt shirts? Just recently, my employer did away with their Brooks Brothers discount and now offer one from CT. Having no exprience with CT clothing, I'm not quite sure how the two compare and whether to be glad or upset.
I am curious how they fit and if they are of a decent quality. I normally wear the Brooks Brothers slimmer fitting shirts and would be interested in a comparable fit.

Thanks

I find their shirts to fit huge... very blousy. I have to get darts added to them or have them taken in or else I'm afraid of floating away if it's windy out...

The search function will reveal multiple threads on just the very two questions you asked.

I just got a few CT sea island quality fitted shirts. They fit just perfect, not too blousy, but I am not exactly skinny. Sadly though CT no longer uses MOP buttons; instead, they use plastic buttons made to look like MOP. Other than that, the shirts seem to be made to similar standard as before (to my untrained eyes, at least).

This thread is one of those groundhog's day threads.

To be fair, however, SF won't let you search for "CT," and often Tyrwhitt is not written out.

I would recommend a search on Ask Andy as well. The depth of knowledge there about CT is just staggering.

I own several shirts from CT, and only one of them fits slightly bigger than the rest (though they are all the same size according to the label). The Sea Isle Quality is definitely very comfortable. They recently started offering a larger selection of "slim fit" cuts - I suggest you try one of these if you're looking for a slimmer look.

I just got my first Tyrwhitt in a Sea Island slim fit and it fits me perfectly. It is the slimmest slim fit I have found.
