Would someone by so kind as to help me in deciding which size I should go with? I have a 38 1/2" chest and I prefer a trimmer fit. Would I find the small to tight or should I go with the medium? All thoughts are welcome, many thanks in advance.

Go with the small. I've got a 38" chest and initially went with the medium, but it's huge, and I changed it for a small. I wouldn't actually recommend it, though; it's very stiff (although perhaps that's what it's meant to be like?).

Thanks Cheese! Raincoats are usually stiff, but when you say stiff, do you mean cardboard stiff?

It's not cardboard stiff, but I'm very aware of it when it's on. Every time I wear it I want to take it off and jump up and down on it to loosen it up a bit. I was tempted to send it back, but it does look okay, and I live in hope that it will get more comfy. I've worn it only half a dozen times, so perhaps it will improve with wear?

Has anyone else gone with a CT raincoat? I'm curious as to whether the coat is cut to fit over a suit. I wear a size 38-39R. Should I still go with a small if I plan to wear it over a fitted suit? Any thoughts are appreciated!

I will. Thanks! I guess I'm just so used to customer service reps having no clue what they're selling. I'll give it a shot. UPDATE: Well, I called and they couldn't tell me anything that was not already on the website. The above post makes me believe that a medium runs large, but I guess the question is whether it is too large, even with a suit underneath.

I ordered a small. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I'll post the fit when it comes in if anyone is interested.
