Charles Tyrwhitt blazer quality opinions?

Hi all:

Am looking for a nice tailored fit navy blazer and came across this one by Charles Tyrwhitt.

I was wondering if anyone had opinions/experiences with the quality of Tyrwhitt blazers?

Its fused (as to be expected for the price), with decent materials and pretty good construction (again given the fusing and the price point).

I have a few CT suits ranging from a lowly twill number to the half canvassed black label/luxury. I really can't complain for the price. I buy them because they fit me well.

Keep in mind that every jacket CT makes has working buttonholes. Its a pain to have the sleeves shortened more than 1/2" or so.

overall, I think you'll be pleased but not blown away.

btw, if you order it from the UK site, its $278+ $20 shipping, so still a $30 savings if you ignore US shipping.

Actually though, on the link I posted it states "floating canvas chest piece", so perhaps not fused on these?

It is most likely non-fused then. I have one of their classic suits, and it is half-canvassed with a floating chest piece. Quite nice for the the price.

floating canvas chest piece doesn't mean its not fused. The ones that are half canvassed are described as such:
