Charles Tyrwhitt 7 folds; I'm counting 10?

I recently ordered a Charles Tyrwhitt seven fold tie, which arrived today. To be honest, I was expecting your typical modern-day seven fold, i.e. a six fold. But I'm counting ten folds here... (see pictures):

Why are CT saying this is a seven-fold? I'm pretty confused here...

The term "7-fold" nowadays is used synonymously with with anything more than your standard 3-fold tie. I've even seen a Bijan one that had 12.
