Is it possible/easy for a tailor to make a shirt collar a half size smaller? I'd like to tighten a 16 to a 15 1/2 if possible.

This doesn't look weird when you just move the button over like that?

There's a linen shirt I wanted to buy but it's a half size too big just like the OP said.

If its a linen shirt, wear it open collar and dont worry too much about the exact fit. Once they wrinkle a little....no one can tell the fit..or lack thereof!

Regards.
