I'm not sure I'd like to request something of a tailor using the terms "make" and "whoopee" in the same sentence.

    LOL!

Great suit. We would like a brighter photo though.

Thanks for all the kind words.

I agree about the inadequate light. I'll try to get another picture of it up soon but it's going to be a busy few days for me. Hopefully, the post'll include shots of my in-progress A-Man suit and another Chan one.

new o, feel free to use my (real) name. If I am still or happen to be in town when you come, I'd be glad to check out fabrics there with you if you like.

Looks great! I am not a DB kinda guy, but I think it really works well. I like the waist suppresion. Like others have said, not my cup of tea but looks good.

Thanks. One of my favourite HS teachers was named Maggio. Be funny if you were him.

Yet you're afraid to show your real face even though I can see it in your AIM icon... [IMG] Nice suit. That's probably how I'd get mine were I going for a DB.

Whoopee that's an awesome looking suit, I never thought I'd have a DB made but I am thinking about it now!

I used the same cloth (but charcoal gray) for a SB suit I am having made by Patrick, it looked and felt amazing when I had my baste fitting, can't wait for it to be finished.

    Lighten up, man...

Nice, very nice. I would slim the pants legs down a lot to match the jacket.

I agree, would finish it out a lot better...

Great jacket on that DB suit. Love the fit. can see the comments about the pants, although I think the current pants are fine. I think they'll look narrower on a straight shot - the legs at a slight angle here, relative to the torso, and that seems to be what is creating the effect of the pant legs being slightly bigger.

Quite a nice silhouette. It would look nice with a bow-tie. For double-breasteds I really like a puffed sqaure; quite 1950s, reminds me of Eva Peron's furrier.
