I have a few designer jackets that I wish I had in other colors, perhaps with a more lux fabric.

I'm thinking of approaching Chan (a.k.a Patrick) during the next tour or perhaps in HK to have him copy some of my designer favorites. Can anyone comment on this? Or perhaps even suggested another tailor?

Specifically I thinking of having copies made of

    1) Emporio Armani : Very slim fitting, narrow lapel single breasted jacket. Currently it's in his signature wool that feels like polyester. (looks good on me but I'm getting tired of the color)

    2) Nicole Farhi : Unconstucted, quarter lined, single breasted, linen.
My summer staple. (I want this re-made maybe in wool, also quarter lined)

Is Chan up to the task for this?

I don't think there would be an issue if you brought the jackets along or appropriate pictures. I just had him make a suit based on a photo and he did an excellent job.
